The next gen of smartwatches is finally here

The smartwatch is the new king. I have been telling you right from the start (my first ever post was dedicated to smartwatches) and now it is time to let you know that Gen 2 has officially started.

The LG G Watch and the Motorola 360 are the first of this new generation of smart(er)watches and Android Wear is behind both.

Take a first look at them:

Okay, the LG G looks good, clean, industrial. But the Moto 360 truly is an object of desire! In fact it is the first smartwatch so far that actually looks too good to be true.

I will be back on this one but hear me out people: Apple is going to have a really hard time with this one.

After whining for all these months about the smartwatches i have had so far, let me tell you that what i see above is indeed a dream come true. If only they do not mess up with water resistance and compatibility they have a true winner in their hands. If any top brass from Motorola ever sees this, please please please congratulate the designers who made this a reality.
